If you'd like to raise your blood pressure, rent here. Problems first started with the water getting turned off... no big deal the pool needed to be filled, or something like that, that stuff must be normal. If it happened maybe once I'd excuse it, atleast I know stuff is getting repaired. On average the water is turned off twice a month, and once we have recieved a notice. Sure the water is being turned off for emergency repairs... When ALL of the pipes under the building are rusted and dripping that's not an emergency repair that's a monthly shutoff of the water to make a scheduled repair. The whole complex needs to have all of its pipes replaced. Parking is rediculous, I hope you didn't want company over, the block is usually surrounded by cars and the neighborhood isn't that nice, just take a look at the places up and down moorpark. The place I moved into was on the third floor, above the sound barrier of the freeway, when the windows were closed you could hear a faint hum, and each window had a set of two panes, Still very loud. Don't expect to have the windows open without hearing the gentle Wooosh of the freeway. If you have a problem deal with it yourself. Management is there to terrorize you.
Moved in, put some gym equipment on the patio, had no place to store it... 3 months later our first notice is a threat to remove it or be evicted. We'v asked them MULTIPLE times to fix stuff or remove THEIR TRASH from my parking spot, and nothing has been done.
When I moved in there was an accounting error on their part and we tried to fix it then, we kept asking our balance and paying it in full, 6 months later we get a threatening letter from management saying we owe them $100 and that we have a week to pay them or we will be turned over to a collection agency. When I asked Linda about it she told me to ignore the notice, Later that week I get another notice and I am told by Katie that Linda doesn't know what she is talking about... Katie is the Assistant manage and Linda is the manager.
The blind don't keep out the sun, if they even work. Forget about putting anything in the windows to keep the sun out because that violates the lease and you'll get a nice little letter telling you to remove the objects or be evicted. The letter did say to "Please let us know if you need written permission to hang curtains"... When I asked Katie "Can I have written permission to hang curtains" she responded "...Please" requesting that I actually treat her with respect. She then told me that she could not give me permission that Linda had to, this was 2 months ago I am still waiting for the written permission to be posted on my door.
I got home last night, my next rent check is my last of the lease, and there was a hanging notice on my door saying that If I refered someone to the apartment I would recieve $200!!! Doesn't that just scream "GET OUT!"' I wouldn't even refer this place to people I hated.
There's only one exit. I will repeat that, ONE EXIT that people who are walking can leave from... there is no emergency exit. Worst case scenario, a fire breaks out at the entrance, or the entrance is blocked during a fire, you die. If you can deal with that fear consider this place.
The mail is in a very inconvenient place, it's next to the vehicle exit, but not accessible by vehicles.
The maintenence guy is nice and respectful, he is always busy though.
What these people do is take your money and fix the outside of the building so it looks nice so they can sucker their next victims into a lease and treat them like they are sub-human.
Please avoid this place...

Yeah, you got it right! They turn off the water too too many times. And I recall that Katie often promptly responds with her "PLEASE" and a mean smile. Linda always has the accounting messed up and LOTS of people get those 3 day notices and have to find her and straighten her out. The outside looks okay until you see it at night with all the lights out it looks creepy and dangerous. Yeah, you my get a patio bit you aren't allowed to put your things there (unless the patio is on Moorpark).
