I lived at Oak Tree from Nov. 2005 thru Nov. 2006. I should have know from the 1st night when my roomates brand new car was stolen,(from the underground parking that was supposed to be safe),that it was going to turn into a terrible place to live. Within the year that I lived there, I saw many management changes and not for the better, but for the WORST! I complained about the refrigerator breaking down and that I had to throw away all my groceries, because it took them over a week to fix it. It then broke down a 2nd time and I had to wait another week to have them replace the refrigerator with another one from a vacant apartment. I was told they would reimburse us for the groceries... 3 months later and after calling the Corporate Office countless times I received a check. But wait, here's the where it gets really BAD! I finally moved out after my lease was up, (Thank God!) and I was told I would receive my deposit within 21 days. It's now November 2007, I NEVER received my deposit or any letter stating why not and when I applied for a loan today, I was told they I had a delinquient bill from OTV and that I owed them $1,300.00!!!
