Yes, they?re new. Once the novelty of that wears off, you?re still left with shoddy construction, ineffectual management, parking garage that stinks of garbage, no recycling, and either traffic noise or the endless screaming from the pool (depending on whether your windows face the street or the pool/courtyard). These apartments are vastly overpriced. You can get a better deal elsewhere, unless the location is an absolute must, as it was for us.
Oh, and did I mention the construction noise, the airplane noise, the sickly stench from your neighbors? dryer venting (with the occasional delightful addition of the sewage odor from the Alviso treament plant) and the fact that you?ll hear the conversations of anyone standing outside no matter how much you don?t want to'
