Good Apartment -- Very Poor Management

From: sbay1990

I lived in this apartment for 1.5 years.

Pros:
1. Nice City Park 2. Spacious Apartment 3. Gym, Pool, BBQ 4. Quiet if you are in the courtyard.

Cons:
1. Poor management: Very poor follow through on requests.
2. Ding you for cleaning/maintenance even when apartments are left -----and-span. Make sure that you document every tiny details when you move-in
3. Only SBC cable available...which rents its gear -- you get charged for unnecessary services. Take a south facing apartment for Dish Networks
4. Don't trust management to return stuff for you. Get things in writing
5. Garage is always dirty. Starbuck drops stuff in the elevator which is also always dirty. No carts in the garage for moving groceries to the apartment (ala Elan Village)
6. Expensive (even more so on renewal)
7. Underground parking only for one car
