Clean, stylish apartments but noisy with bad staffing

I have lived here for a year, and love the apartment itself. Berber carpets and granite counters make for easy maintenance. Park and gym facilities are nice and well-maintained. Washer in apartment is a good perk.
Rent is a bit on the high side, but competitive.
Still, apartments are not well soundproofed. I can hear TV from apartments around me constantly, and the thudding noise from people walking upstairs keeps me up at night. 10 PM to 7 AM quiet horus are NOT enforced. People run their washer in the middle of the night. Calling the security patrol gets you nowhere--they say all they can do is "log the problem."
Worst of all the staff is horrible, at time downright rude. They won't go out of their way to help you as they claim. Once I walked in to exchange a key that didn't work (I KNOW it didn't work) and I was rushed out of the office with the statement "it must work." I had to push them to give me a new key that finally worked. Someone else posted that they are pretentious and that is right. Making complaints gets you nowhere. When I called because my washer was leaking, the first thing the maintenance man said ws that it was "my fault." Instead of fixing it he said just to "avoid using the large water volume, only use the medium volume." Well, that leaves me nowhere if I need to wash my comforter.
And rent increases are horrible at renewal. They hook you with the special, but you'll see your rent go up at renewal.
Parking garage is nice but spaces are often cramped and hard to get in and out of. Residents are not courteous and park ridiculously sometimes. Mostly upper-class yuppies with no manners.
It's a beautiful community but I would not sign here again beacuse of bad customer service. Good customer service could go a way Would go instead to Elan or other communities.

I've been living here for about a month now and found out that residents here all have a cold face, especially when in elevator, I feel really uncomfortable becuase ppl here are too lazy to say hi and most of them pretend you are just air.
