First of all, when I had moved, I had gone from a 8 year old apartment to Oakwood. The model that I was shown was nowhere near the condition of the one I ended up renting. I know that there is usually some discrepancies, but they were so large that I actually cried when I moved in. There was a large hole in the wall (cable mishap') and the walls were pretty thin. There was a HUGE bubble of water in the walls and ceiling about the shower (it would actually leak water when the upstairs neighbor was showering). One thing is that the management was really good about taking care of it, although it seemed like a temporary fix. Any other dealings with management were easy and done promptly.
In other features, the pool and sauna were nice, the workout room was pretty good, and there was ample parking. The laundry facilities were convenient but not reasonable and I often lost money in the machines.
BIG NOTE: the area is very congested and the traffic is terrible. However, I would still recommend as long as they upgraded the property and lowered the prices.
