Having signed a lease when economy was at a boom, no leeway was given to long-term tennants when rent DEcreases finally occurred. Being a single student this was very hard and I do not understand how the management could be so cold hearted by treating new tennants better than tennants who have committed to residing in this apartment complex for years. At my job, I have suffered because of a major decrease in business = less money. When I renewed my lease after my first year, they increased the rent by 20%. Now it has decreased by almost that much. Tennants with no lease at all, tenants who may leave at any time, are being treated in a superior manner. When it comes down to it, the management needs to take care of their long-term tennants. They are failing to do so, so we will be moving to an apartment complex with more reasonable terms. The Woods gave a $500 decrease to one of my friends who was in a one-year lease. That is a friendly community. I will be moving in with them. Thank you Orchard Park.
