When we first viewed the apartments, we thought, WOW. Wonderful amenities, apartments, and move-in discounts and the staff was friendly, untill......
the lease was signed and so was our slow dissapointment with such a wonderful place. Many little problems with certain staff members started giving us second thoughts, but the big one was trying to get our second phone line working. They advertise an office space and multiple phone jacks in our apartment. I got it set up with sbc to have a fax machine for my business, but there was a problem with the line in the apartment. I told santa palmia and they said they would take care of it. after 3 weeks of bugging them since nothing got done, one of the staff members told us they weren't going and that its not their responsibility. I was furious! went back to the office a couple of days later, talked to someone else, and they said they would take care of it. Finally, got it fixed after over 1 month. They had to call sbc out to come take a look at it and they couldn't even fix it, but charged me $90 for coming to tell me that. the apartment said they would take care of it, as they should. didn't reimburse me for over 2 months. Got discusted, and broke our lease early. talked to the new main manager, who was actually very nice, and got much of the fees knocked off because of the terrible dealings we had with them. There are a few in the office staff who are nice, and will try to help you, but the witches of the palm valley order will ruin any good the others do for you. So if any of the good office staff are reading this, keep up the good work, and get rid of the bad eggs.
I must admit, the new manager got some good changes going right before I left, but my bad experiences just made me give up...I had to leave.
