I lived in Santa Palmia for 16 months, from the beginning I had problems. When we were signing our lease we were called because they were leasing us an apartment that was not even available, so then we had to look into another unit. On our move in day we called to ask a question to find out they didn't realize we were moving in that day because they never prepared our apartment for move in.

Our next problem was our phone was disconnected multiple times because their onsite workers kept disconnecting our line when they would try to add someone else into the gate. Speaking of the gate, the whole time I lived there they never even entered my name into the gate for my guests, they always had some excuse about the gate not working. When calling to have maintenance come out, you will wait for days to see them. it took them over a month to have our apartment cleaned since they did not do it prior to us moving in.

We had problems with our neighbors from the very beginning. They had parties almost every night. We complained to security and it got so bad we had to call the cops. The management would say "sorry" we'll take care of it and never did. The second set of neighbors to move in were as bad as the first. Living by the pool is horrible, you hear everything in the summer from even across the complex. Security is horrible and can be quite rude. We called all the time but never had any success. Security was so scarce and my boyfriend who was also a tennant, had his car broken into inside the parking garage.

The complaints about the management are very true. They change their staff like people change their underwear, daily. They promise to return your calls and never do, they pass you around. They charge you for things you shouldn't be charged for and take their time to repay you.

The only good thing is that we finally got to break our lease because we had enough information to take them to court if they didn't let us out. They didn't keep their end of the lease and new it. we also got our deposit in full which was a nice bonus. BuLYzGcKAVo8MQPlcXJq

I don't they sound spoiled at all. The sound issues are true and the security issues are true.

For the overpriced rent of these apartments, I'm suprised that more is not done to truly accomadate the client. But I guess more profits will go into the management company!!!

I agree with the reviewer. It's nice if you're visiting. But aside from that appearances aren't everything. There are some obvious and blatant flaws with this place.

I have lived at Santa Palmia for a few years and I still don't know how to work the gate system. But since I live near the gate- it's no problem to go to the front to let my guests in. I also agree about the sound issue. I don't think it's unreasonable for management to ask all the residents to be considerate about noise after 10:00 PM. After all- with the expensive rent you are paying- you should be able to get a decent night's sleep. I also don't think anyone respects the security guards. There is one who is nice enough- but she doesn't exactly exude authority. She reminds me of a person who would be on Jerry Springer. But then again the Management doesn't repsect the tenants- they don't respect our needs, our time, or that we consider Palm Valley our home- and not a business.

I agree. Santa Palmia is beautiful and LOOKS like a resort. However- living here is a whole different ball game. Are the headaches worth the rent? Maybe for some people. Everyone has a different tolerance for noise.
