When I first moved in, rent was $1550/month for a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom with an attached garage. Three rental agreements later, the rent has increased by almost $1000 per month. It has reached the point where it is no longer worth the price of rent. The building, although attractive, is starting to show some wear and tear. The lino in the kitchen has seen better days, cement on the sidewalks are cracking and the areas outside my front door is cracking, the outside of the building itself is starting to crack and crumble revealing Styrofoam underneath. The water heater is a little questionable at times because it works some days, and doesn't seem to produce much hot water other days. I must say the washer and dryer inside the apartment is a definite plus. The staff working at Villa Veneto are wonderful, professional, and always helpful. Maintenance is always prompt. Parking is safe although there have been non-residents entering the gated community and going through the garbage area searching for cans and bottles. When it comes time for my lease to be renewed, I will need to search for a similar apartment with a lower rent cost. Villa Veneto was great while it lasted but it is time to move on to a different place for less rent.

The apartements at Santa Palmis are also showing signs of wear and tear as well. They want to charge a First Class Rent but are not keeping the apartments in First Class condition.

I think Management is keeping the landscaping in perfect condition. It is very pretty. However, the quality of inside the apartments are questionable. I think the thing that really bothers me in these "newer apartments" is that you can hear every little thing your upstairs neighbors do- and it always sounds like they are having a clogging competition up there. And you can hear your downstairs neighbors music and TVs. I get that I live in apartments in high density living- but sometimes you just want some peace and quiet.

I have been a resident here for a few years and watched it go downhill with increasing rent, decreasing amenities and staff shortcomings. The property changed hands and greed is out of control. If they need to gauge you or deny your request they use "fair housing" excuse, but try to "fair house" them - good luck!!! They lie and discriminate left and right. There are definitely shady dealings with the utility management company they use. Previous company had rigged water meters (have proof), new company got rid of individual billing so you cannot prove that they are cheating you, although, since the monthly prorated fees for usage of water (the "actual" water used by community divided by the number of tenants) fluctuate by as much as 38% with stable occupancy it really contradicts the law of large numbers, particularly, if higher usage falls on winter months... Definitely a great candidate for a class-action law suit... Are there any lawyers out there willing to take it on... LOL?

I agree that you can hear every little movement from your upstairs neighbors. God help you if you are cursed with an upstairs nieghbors who likes to party late and party loud. All the nieghbors are so disrespectful of each other.
