The leasing staff of this complex continue to pose a risk to pedestrians by continuing to drive electric carts on the sidewalks of La Strada despite a written agreement from the complex mgr Denise Hughes agreeing to cease this practice as of 12/16/05.

The following is quoted from the laws of San Jose:

Electric Carts on Sidewalks
21114.5. Notwithstanding Section 21663 or any other provision of this code, local authorities may, by ordinance, authorize the operation of electric carts by physically
disabled persons, by persons 50 years of age or older, or, while in the course of their employment, by employees of the United
States

Continued below...

Postal Service, state and local governmental agencies, or utility companies, on public sidewalks. Any ordinance shall, however, contain provisions requiring any disabled person or person 50 years of age or older who owns or leases an electric cart to apply to the local authority for a permit and
an identification sticker to so operate the cart, and requiring the person to affix the sticker to the cart in order to operate
on the sidewalk. The permit and sticker shall become invalid if the person ceases to operate, own, or lease the cart.

Booooring. Why in god's name would you post all of this nonsense on here. Why not go straight to the source. Obviously, we all now know that you can research penal codes (which by the way any monkey with half a brain can accomplish) and post them at your discretion to the whole world. However I hate to break this to you, but no one on here cares. So this is why you don't like the apartments, well I'm sure that anyone with apartment knowledge would agree that this completely unaffects people living within their apartment. Thanks for letting all of us know that the only problem with these apartments are a couple golf carts driving around (attempting to keep occupancy up so YOUR rent stays low, just fyi *wink*) doing their job. I suppose i better stay away from golf courses too, and google campuses. For God's sake, just keep your eyes open when you're walking around and don't be a TARD. haha
