My husband and I saw an ad on craigslist for the pavona apts. we read the reviews on here but still wanted to check it out. we've been calling the main office for about a week now and left messages but have never heard back.
so today, we went to the office hoping to catch someone. the office was completely empty and locked. so we waited outside to see if anyone would show up. after waiting about half an hour we saw a brunette in a lexus drive up and call the office. (we could hear the office phone ringing). within a minute a man came out from a side entrance to the office (we later realized) and hopped into the car. he didn't even look at us...as they were driving off he slightly glanced at us and gave an evil smile.
if this is how they treat potential tenants, i can't even imagine how they treat their current tenants. uWDgQKY3Vkv8FKIsB8Ax

Why do you have much anger to unleash? I'm not commenting on what's it like to live there, I'm just sharing my experience of trying to get a hold of management just to set up a time to talk to someone. When we were waiting at the front entrance there was NO sign on the door. We were waiting to see if we could just set up an appointment with anybody.
We were so confused that we also went to look at the door that guy came out of and it was from the main office. So that's why I am assuming he works there.
This place just really leaves a sour taste in my mouth. It seems like unfriendly people live and work there.

You're right, my response was too strong. I was having a bad day. But, after reading these posts (not just yours) misaligning the wonderful girls in the office, I got really steamed. As for friendliness, some people are friendly here and some aren't - just like the real world. Management does throw parties and get togethers for the tennants here about every 2 months. It's fun to meet the neighbors. We have many different types of people living here. Traveling nurses, families, older people, younger people - the whole spectrum. I met my son's now Godmother here.
The office recently got new doors so their office hours aren't posted anylonger. Sundays the hours are 12-5. Maybe you came before the office opened.

IF YOU DON'T LIVE HERE YOU HAVE NO BUSINESS COMMENTING ON WHAT'S IT'S LIKE TO LIVE HERE. You're wasting everyone's time. I've requested that your comments be removed.
When the office is closed, they are normally showing the property to prospective tennants. They ALWAYS put a sign on the door saying they'll be back in so many minutes. In fact, I walked my dogs past the office today and saw the sign. There is a side entrance to our complex, so the person you saw was probably a tennant. NONE of the office staff are men. Our maintenance supervisor is a male, but he has nothing to do with the office and would not be answering the phone. It's very stupid to pay attention to "dirty looks" from people because you never know what the person is thinking. They could have a headache, poor vision, or be having a horrible day and just happen to look at you.
I love living here. That's why we've been here for 6 years. The staff is extremely wonderful and professional.
