When we first moved into The Pines, our apt was brand new so we were pretty excited. We've never had a real problem with management, but when we did they were addressed rather quickly and the issues were resolved. One of the reasons why I hated living here was because we had jerks for neighbors. One tennant poured washed up dog urine on our porch (we were on the first floor, they were on the third) about 4 times and everytime we went outside it reeked. It was very embarrassing when we would have guests over. Maintenance had to come each time to clean it up. We had neighbors who had parties late at night which we had to call security numerous times... we had neighbors play foozball at 2 in the morning. It'd sound like they're giving each other body slams. Our unit was on the first floor and on the corner so we heard the dings of the elevator, the opening and closing of anyone checking their mailbox (wall is shared), and not to mention the perimeter entrance gate slamming everytime someone went through. But I guess that's what we get for getting the corner apt. Oh yea, did I mention that some people like to pretend they're in a race track while they're driving down Baypointe which leads to a dead end' Don't ask me why. Actually, I think one night someone was trying to do donuts with their car. I hear that they've been having trouble with car vandalism... so watch out if you have a fancy car. Someone stole the M5 badge from my boyfriends BMW.
I'd also like to add that we had mice visit us about twice. Nasty. Overall, my experience was pretty neutral... maybe it's because I'm a patient person.
Oh yes, the elevator IS always inoperable. Just had to suck it up and take the stairs...
