When we moved in, the apartment was terribly dirty. There were stains all over the kitchen, dirt streaks on the walls, and the bathrooms were horribly dirty. When we moved out, the property owner charged us almost $200 to replace the plastic portion of the refrigerator that holds condiments in the door (they told us that the apartment was going to cover the cost of the part before we turned in our 30 day notice). Please let me note that the refrigerator was not worth that much. On the note of poor appliance/workmanship, one day I was cutting vegetables for dinner and the entire kitchen counter shifted away from the wall. You could lift the countertop up from where it was supposed to be mounted and place it on the floor! In addition, my car was keyed in their parking area and refused to allow me to see the tape of if! If you are thinking of moving in there, please hear me - reconsider!!!
