I was surprised by the low score the complex has received but I guess that most happy tenants aren't looking at apartment rating sights so they aren't writing reviews. I have lived in this complex for about a year and I love it. It's quiet, clean, and the new management seems to address problems quickly, though I think the one maintanence man is a little overworked. The neighbors are generally friendly and I feel safe leaving my doors open at night.

I don't think the problem is with the reviewers, it's with the complex. My current complex, RiverLodge, in Austin TX, has an 83% "recommended by:" rate and very few, if any, harsh reviews. I just wrote a negative review about Plum Orchard because my experience there, relative to every other complex I've occupied, was horrible. Most renters aren't fortunate enough to know about this site so it's unlike the negative reviews will do much to hurt Plum Orchard. However, for the well-informed, it may save them some grief.

With inside information-we happen to know that the "owners" had the Manager of the complex write this with ficticious E-mail, and untraceable complexities. This is a fact.

maybe some people just don't know about this site. there are quite a few apartment rating sites out there. just because a small number has complained doesn't mean they aren't telling their friends not to move to your apartment complex. i don't understand why these complaints aren't just fixed instead of painted over.
