DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!

I just moved out of this complex after a very short 6 month lease. The reasons are as follows:
-When we first moved in the apartment had not been cleaned, as in there was dried vomit on the walls & dust on the blinds and closet doors. The apartment had not been repainted even though the last tenants had patched large holes in the walls and left marks when moving out. The new carpet they installed was the cheapest carpet ever made, every time after I vacuumed, the entire bag was filled with fuzz from the carpet. This was all the way up to the day I moved out and vacuumed before the carpet cleaners came in.

-Of course when you move in you are supposed to fill out a check list for damage etc. There were so many things wrong with the place; I wouldn t even know where to begin. It took the management 3 months to even realize all of the problems, and that was only because we happened to speak to the Owner.

-We lived on the first floor and so that meant we had two other units above us. Both units had a lot of crap on there balconies, including candles, plants, some gigantic glass sun. All of this managed to land on our patio. Only the first time did someone pick it up. We emailed the manager about this issue and she NEVER replied.

-About two months before our lease was up, everyone in the complex was notified that we needed to put out a $20 deposit for a parking sticker or we would get towed. My roommate worked a lot of odd hours and never once saw a tow truck.

-There is a no dog policy in the complex but yet the manager has been an exception to this rule, and has a barking poodle.
-There was a notice the week we were moving out that there was two separate break-ins.

I had to argue my complaints with the Manager Donna on several occasions. She has hung up on me, told me that she had bent over backwards for us. Blah, Blah, Blah. Her job is not that hard, but it would be if you are lazy. She refused to give me any information about the owner, so I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

I have never been one of those tenants that complains a lot or causes trouble, I just like to go home and have essential things work, like my toilet.

Essentially I am saying I would definitely not recommend moving to this complex.
