I've been here for 6 months and just gave my 30 day notice. I was content living here but there were a few things that I could complain about. The creaky floor above us was irritating. It seemed as though there were giants living in the apartment above ours, you could hear every foot step. We had to sign something when we moved in regarding the asbestos in the ceilings. There is almost always someone digging through the dumpsters so I make sure not to throw anything away that I don't want someone else to find.

Having a patio is nice, but not being allowed to BBQ kind of sucks. The management is nice. The grounds are well kept. The apartment itself has a decent floor plan. This complex is in no way ghetto, but it's not luxury living either. I'd recommend this place but not for anyone who's looking for a long term "home".

I have stayed all around in US, but had the worst experience with plum orchard apartments - Mold problem was just too bad that my kid fall sick due to mold allergy - kept complaining to the management - there only remedy - keep your windows open etc - which is not practical - i stay at other places - no issue at all. And then the management will rip off for your security deposit. I paid 750$ in total along with the car sticker (its a basic plastic and they charged 20 bucks and never refund that in spite of I was ready to return that crazy plastic sticker. So be all, I stayed there for over 2 years - security deposit hit me the hard, I didnt have time to chase them due to my relocation and travel needs and they took advantage. So beaware of security deposit, tell them that you have read all over about this rip off scheme there. Even you may have the greatest credit rating of the world, plum orchard will force you for deposit to gulp that later.
