During my short stay there I can quickly comment that it was always very noisy. Seems that the walls are very thin. Just walking down the hallway, you can hear every conversation your neighbor is having, as well as listen to their TV, etc... Not to mention the fact that most tenants there were not very considerate of their neighbors.
Washing your clothes, well... I would recommened taking your clothes down the street to the nearest laundrymat. You have to get lucky in catching the few dryers that are working properly. Half the dryers where I dryed my clothes required that you dry your clothes for 2 runs..almost 3 hours before a load of laundry is dry.
Finally, the place is fallen apart.. very little preventive maintenance is done. Its basically a break it fix it situation. If you're home during the day..., which I did, because I worked from home. You can count on the water being turned off without notice several times a month. Happened to me while taking a shower, and another time while brushing my teeth. These were morning times mind you....
On a more positive note, management are good folk..., but not making any good decisions. That's all I will say for now, because I'm getting tired of typing...
