The management is the main issue at Sandalwood. Lack of professionalism, unethical behavior and gossip can only result in one thing: tenants are not happy and decide to leave. The property is decent, but not kept up and therefore falling apart very quickly. The landlord since 2003 doesn't respond to work requests on a timely manner and shows little knowledge on how to manage a property of 40 units. My experience at Sandalwood was satisfactory for the first year. Then, I quickly realized how much better other complexes treat their tenants. I left and I believe it was a great decision. Rent rates keep going down at Sandalwood because the management team is unable to keep tenants and the only way to obtain new leases is to lower prices... until tenants discover why it's so cheap...
