The most recent management company is very poor. The property is not maintained to the standard that it used to be. Maintenence requests can take anywhere from 3 days to 2 weeks, and the on site manager is rarely there. We recently renewed our lease with this new management company and the lease was 13 pages long (compared to the 3 page lease we signed with the previous company). The building is supposed to be a security building, however the front door is often broken allowing people to enter the property at will. The gates entering at exiting the parking areas are often broken and open at all hours of the day. Management cannot be located to report the problem. Theft in the parking areas is commonplace. Car emblems have been removed from vehicles on numerous occassions, bicycles (locked up) have been stolen, and the police have apprehended thieves in the carport areas twice (thanks to the watchful eye of residents). The laundry room is attached to the recreation room, and I can't remember the last time it was cleaned. The washers are often broken, and reporting this to the management is a complete waste of time. Residents have been forced to contact the owner's of the washing machines directly to report damage and needed repairs. Current management is lazy and clearly only care about collecting the rent.
