Average on most accounts. Pros: decent rent, spacious 1 bed/1 bath, lots of storage, fairly nice landscaping (especially in the back area), nice managers who care about the tennants and have solved many problems, usually available laundry facilities, close to 17 and thus 280 and 85, a train station is being built right in front of the complex, close to The Pruneyard and the shopping around there, fridge and dishwasher (at least, in my unit), working heating and AC units, fresh paint and carpet installed before move-in, a general feeling of safety (lots of people leave their doors and windows open). I've not used the pool, but it looks well kept.
Cons: lots of kids under 10 playing on the walkways and making lots of noise, little or no insulation in the walls (I can hear my neighbor snoring), you can hear the trains (tracks right in front of complex) even at the back of the complex, little guest parking all at the front of the complex, neighbors don't always keep their music or conversations down, lighting on walkways is a little too dim, trees and plants drop berries and fruits that gunk up the walkways in the fall, NO place to park moving trucks (I and everyone else I've seen has had to park in a firetruck zone), interior units are a little too distant from the road (have to lug in groceries, etc, hence . .), grocery carts left around complex.
Please note that most of my complaints are minor. This isn't a bad place to live; but if I had my choice, I would choose to live in a better spot.
