This was a really nice "family" community with very nice family oriented people. Recently some people have moved in who are very "party oriented and non-courteous". You can see those people partying almost everyevening outside their apartments and on the stairs. It almost feels like you are in some kind of SLUM area!!! The noise level is also much higher recently. The most disturbing thing is, these "new party oriented" tenents do not respect the families living around them and speak curse words LOAD, fight when drunk... I have seen a lot of police activities in last 6-months....In summary, we are planning to move out after enjoying the community for long time - untill last 6-monts...just because of this nuisance....PLEASE DO NOT MOVE IN TO THIS APPARTMENT COMPLEX if you are a family oriented person.

I disagree with his review of this complex. Shelter Creek is a great place to live with a family orientated atmoshpere with neighborhood BBQ's ETC. I have not seen any true fighting or police presence. If you do have a family rent a condo or something with more privacy. In short I like shelter creek .I live among not just neighbors but friends.

I have also heard the loud partying and cussing this person is talking about but it has died down since then. I think this person and I must live nearby in the complex. My bedroom faces the front of the next apartment building and at night, the neighbors (who are in their 20s) were oblivious to the fact that they live in an apartment community. I have also seen the police cars out front once or twice, but it didn't seem like anything violent was going on and things have seemed to settle down lately (this all was happening about 2 or 3 months ago). Besides the inconvenience of hearing your neighbor's life stories at night (and I'm more than positive situations like this could happen at ANY apartment complex), I enjoy living at Shelter Creek apartments.
