Summerwind Apartments

Don't get tricked! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 9/2/2005 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005   Although the apartments are very nice, the area is somewhat ghetto. In the first 3 months that I stayed here, our car got broken into twice and stolen once. They finally hired security, but honestly....there are way better apartments out there to live in. Traffic on Mclaughlin is NOISY! The buildings aren't too clean, although I know that the maintenance crew try. (It's difficult when you get dumbasses spray-painting "West Oakland" in the elevators or people pissing in corners of the buildings...) If you're just trying to get by, it's an okay apartment at your own risk. But if you have kids or can afford a better apartment, I suggest you find a better one...
