It is beautifully landscaped and kept clean. Plus there are large parks/pools for recreation. Lovely community.
It has a Starbucks/Quiznos located on site.
Pets are OK - small/med sized dogs and cats (Somewhat high deposit - train your animals not to scratch the wall and pee on the floor and you're ok.) Pet downside - yappy dogs can be heard through the walls.
I'd say that's the only thing I have issue with, the thickness of the walls/ceiling/floor.
If someone is crazy loud and it's passed 10pm - call the security people. They'll respond just give them time.
Odds are, if you aren't renting a house or living in a community filled with grannies and grandpa's, you're gonna have some sort of noise around you. I'd much rather live at the Cypress than some rundown, seemingly unsafe complex.
As for staff issues, I've never had any problems. Pay your rent and pick up your packages in a timely manner, and if needbe document how many times you call maintenance and do not get a response.
And for the record, I will be moving out when my lease expires, but only to switch to another (smaller) apt within the North Park community.
