I almost rented a studio at Cypress and I am glad that I didn't. After putting down my deposit and fill out all paper work, I received a call from the leasing office on my way home. I was told that they made a mistake on quoting me the rent and the "correct" monthly rent will be $250 more per month!


Future renters, beware of this deceitful leasing office. Your rent could start rising even before you move in!

I believe you have the wrong community. I work in the leasing office and none of our prices have such a large variance of price quoted. We do offer weekly specials at various times however a rate change would not reflect that much of a difference. For example, a studio may rent for $1,170 and we may have had a special run for $20 off per month if you rented within that week. Sometimes prospects don't rent when the special is offered and when they come in at a later date, the special may have been removed. It's the same concept as when you rent a a dept store and buy something on sale. The sale price is only good for a specified period. I assure you our rental practices are in no way misleading and you are welcome to contact us at the leasing office and we would be happy to research your claim. I have already checked with all leasing consultants and none recall any person renting a studio then cancelling due to a large price difference.
