You would hope that this place would hold great memories for me-- after all, my parents were living here when I was born! My husband and I did not know that fact when we rented the place in 1992, but found it amusing at the time!

Unfortunately, that is the only good thing I can say about the place. When we first moved in, we had some very nice neighbors, but new management took over and rented to anyone with a pulse, and turned the place into a war zone.

For those who don't want to blame management for the woes of the place, you're way out of line. Bad tenants should be evicted and prospective renters should be reviewed carefully. After management changed over, our car was broken into twice (by the jerks that lived directly below us), the fire alarm started going off on a regular basis and the cops were always at some location in the complex to take someone away on a warrant.

A few other things to consider: roach problem (major ick factor), not enough laundry facilities, no a/c (huge problem with apartments that do not have cross-breezes), staff that assumes you are a jerk for living there in the first place.

We did okay on the deposit-- after so many years we did not expect to get much back, but we also had that weird $65.00 fee someone else mentioned.

Unless management changes over, I would seriously advise people to steer clear. Being working-class or trying to save for a place of your own should not mean putting up with squalid conditions.
