I've lived here for 6 months and personally I think the Woods are amazing. The parking issue pretty much differs from person to person, I've found. My boyfriend and I can always find great parking within a short walking distance from our apartment. My area of the complex is never noisy. Sometimes I hear police cars zipping by at night, which I really do not mind.
I happen to be friends with some of the women at the leasing office, and I find them very friendly and sweet. They're helpful and are always willing to listen to my questions when I call them multiple times a day to ask for apartment-related advice. Maintenance is AMAZING. Our showerhead broke, so I called night services at around 2 in the morning. The next day at 10 am [as per my requested time], someone from maintenance showed up and fixed my shower in 5 minutes.

For the past couple of months my boyfriend and I have searched and searched and searched for cheaper apartments, but we've decided to stay. We really get our money's worth. Actually, I'll be bringing one of my coworkers to the Woods so we can all move into one of their townhomes.

If anyone has any questions regarding the negatives or positives of the Woods, please leave a response. I love this place so much I could be a representative.

ALSO - to prospective renters. You'll notice that there are PLENTY of 1.0 reviews. I beg you to take a look at "elprofesor"'s balanced review (a couple below mine). Please, take note, that most of the 1.0 reviews are written with terrible english and little evidence.

Don't know much about Amberwood, but yeah, I totally agree about the maintenance -- they kick butt. I pretty much agree with this poster, except for th enoise -- It really depends on who your neighbors are -- if you're lucky, they won't have motorcycles! And thanks for recognizing the realities about the 1.0 posters -- egads! And thanks again for the props; I try to write balanced reviews. I do have two new complaints -- 1.) the speedbumps by the main entrance (as you come through the main gate and turn right) are SEVERE -- my alignment gets tweaked so badly by those things! 2.) wasps -- theye are everywhere; under the eaves and rooves of almost every building there will form humongous colonies of the darn things -- seems to me they could once a week get a company to come by and get rid of 'em. If every resident paid an extra ONE dollar a month, that would be almost $25,000 a year for The Woods -- more than enough to hire a decent vector management crew. Cheers, and enjoy your The Woods living :-)

Thank you and elprofesor for the good reviews! I am moving in at the end of April (edenwood village) and thanks to a well meaning friend have been regreting my choice of apartment communties until I read your reviews. I hope my family and I have a good experience at the woods!
