Do Not Rent Ellmar Oaks Apartment! From: VictimOfEllmarOaks Date posted: 11/10/2004 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004   I lived there for a little over a year, and as I was moving in, there were tenants complaining about being over charge on there deposit as they were moving out. I did not believe it until I move out myself. I spent two days cleaning up the apartment making sure that the apartment was clean before I moved out. But I was still charge for everything from repainting the apartment to steaming the carpet. They charged for the full amount of my deposit of $800 and $85 on top of that. They even go as far as sent me to collection for the additional $85 that they charge me on top of my full deposit. I believed Ellmar Oaks management are a bunch of rip off. Save yourself the pain and suffering and DO NOT RENT AT THE ELLMAR OAKS APARTMENT.
