Do Not Move Here! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 11/15/2007 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007   For the past 5 months they have been doing construction. They keep claiming that they apologize for all the inconvenience, yet they tell us things like: "You can't use your spot for 3-weeks, or you'll be towed.. You need to clear your bedroom so they can come in and replace your window. If you don't clear your bedroom and it postpones the work, you will be billed for the contractor's time at $52.50/hr. Move everything off your balcony immediately so they can repaint, it will take approximately 2 weeks to finish." RENTER BEWARE! The management here has changed 4 times in under 1 year. The current management people think they can do whatever they want. They keep telling us that what they to do during the construction may damage our property, yet they say they're not responsible for anything. I just say they are just not responsible managers, and are completely inconsiderate for the people who actually live here during the painting, sanding, spraying, hammering, blacktop-work, etc. The entire complex is VERY NOISY. It's nearly impossible to get a good night sleep. there is no air conditioning, and the apartments become ovens during the afternoons. I am serious, don't move here. They scraped the Asbestos ceilings without proper protection for anyone. I had to walk right through all the crap in the air for a week while they just said 'sorry.' I moved out as a result of all these things, and am very happy I did. I keep hearing horror stories from people that are still living there. Oh, when I moved out they admitted that they didn't even have any records or copies of my leases or contracts. They still, almost a year later have not given me my security deposit back because they can't prove the amount. They also wanted me to pay almost $2,000 for leaving, even though I didn't break a lease (they didn't believe me but couldn't prove anything) A nightmare. They claim to have all sorts of knowledge and experience in management, yet they treat the residents like dirt, and talk down to everyone.
