Anyone that thinks this building is a great place to live must be smoking crack! I used to live in this building and it was bad beyond belief! Mold everywhere, a nasty dirty shower when we moved in, cockroaches in the kitchen, noisy ALL THE TIME . . . the list goes on. I can't believe ANYONE would give this building a good review! Trust me, you don't want to live here!
The whole time I lived in this building I felt like I was living in squalor, no matter how often I cleaned my apartment (sometimes daily!). Everything was old, dirty, and the management never wanted to replace ANYTHING. They would fix things in the cheapest and quickest way possible whenever they could get around to it. Two weeks after I complained that my shower was backing up they finally got on MY case because it had started leaking into the downstairs neighbor's bathroom. Then they came and fixed it because it was causing damage downstairs. Finally my shower got fixed. It took a week and a half to get my bathroom sink fixed when it was backing up. By the time the maintenance man (at the time the two buildings in the complex had just one maintenance man - they might have more now) got around to it, the sink was completely stopped, had black gunk coming up into the sink, and was making the whole apartment stink. YUCK!
In short, if you care about your health, your sanity, and your self respect, DON'T LIVE HERE!!!

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience...but things have changed a LOT since then. I moved in in 2003 and have been quite happy here for the past 3 years. Shortly after I moved in the staff changed, and are MUCH more responsive than Beverly and Delfin. Maintenance is a 24 hour turnaround max in most cases. I requested a tree cut because it aggravated my allergies and it was trimmed back within 3 days. Upgrades are being done to the complex. So yes, I enjoy living here, and no I am not smoking crack...things can change.
