I have been here for 3 months, but it has been a nightnamre since. There are so many issues with the management, try my best to list the important ones below:
1) Insects: I have not seen more insects anywhere than here. The place is infested with spiders, moth and silver fish.
2) Bad Maintaineance Response:
When I moved into the appartment, the carpet was stained, the Washer was rusted, the Linol in the Bathroom was stained, the air conditioner lid broken. The maintaineance supervisor does not hesitiate in telling that they are trying to conserve the budget. They say the carpet is not dirty, just stained.
The kitchen sink looks like a never cleaned toilet bowl. The property manager boasts of 24hr response time, but it took them 6 weeks to fix anything at all.
3) No one receives the Phone:
Everytime you call you get the machine. You go to their office and you see the sign - will be back at this.
4) You better take an appointment with the Property Manager:
You need to take an appointment if you want to see the property manager. This seems so ridiculous, the guy is sitting right there but I have to take an appointment to tell him that the maintaineance request has been pending for so many days.
5) Garbage Truck:
The truck comes at 6 am in the morning. It is not possible to sleep while it is collecting garbage. So if you sleep until late or have a very small kid who keeps you awake until the wee hours of the morning, then prepare yourself - because it won't take long for the truck to come after your kid goes to sleep.
6) Nasty notices: Prepare yourself to receive a healthy dose of nasty notices to throw you out of the appartment and threats to tow your car. They come so very often. Sometimes it is to remind about the policy to move your car every week accompanied with a threat to tow it away. Sometimes it is about the dish, sometimes it is about bringing guest to the swimming pool.
7) Construction:
They have started building new units, so prepare yourself for the noise.
8) Referral Bonus:
They have a referral bonus program but read the fine print. They will take 3 months to send you that check.
People tell me that things changed here dramatically since the new manager that came about 3/4 months ago.
