I have lived here at Benchmark Apartments for over two years now. As far as the rent issue goes... it can always be better. I feel that this location is safer than most areas. There isn't that much noise in the area, the neighbors have been relatively quiet and I have not felt safer in any other place. I am currently in a two bedroom townhouse style apartment. It is true that the original construction was not the best, but what do you expect in an apartmnet. If you want perfect go buy and build your own home. These places are only a stepping stone for something better. Hopefully anyway. When people choose to live in an apartment complex, you always have the choice of not accepting the first available one. If the location is too cloase to the freeway or in a darker area than you would prefer, don't take it. This is in response to the other comment made by another tenant about Benchmark. I agree on certain points, but like I said, what can you really expect from an apartment' $1000 now days is getting away cheap for the size of the aprtment. I am more than thrilled with mine. I do not plan on moving until I can get into a house. This has to be one of the best places I have lived. think about the many places worse than this. There are wuite a few. I would have no problem recommendind a friend to move in here.
