Nice, quiet complex.

I read the other reviews and I'm not quite sure where these people are coming from. Obviously none of them have ever lived in a truly crappy apartment. We moved up to San Marcos from San Diego and are only paying about $70 more for wayyy more amenities. There are washers and dryers in every unit (NICE!), dishwashers, CENTRAL AC and heat, and our apartment has a really nice large patio. (about 10'x10'). Our old apartment had none of that. The neighbors so far are pretty quiet. There are basketball and tennis courts, playgrounds for kids, a pool and fitness room. My only complaints are that there is very little guest parking available and our apartment seemed pretty dusty when we first moved in. I think it might have been paint overspray that settled on the carpet or possible some sort of cleaner that was used on the carpet that dried and turned into a white powder. The apartment overall is in very good condition- fairly new carpets, fresh paint- and we are not even in one of the upgraded ones with new appliances. I had to laugh at the review that said "Worst apartment I have ever lived in." Try living in an apartment with no air conditioning, no balcony, roach infestation and a moldy mildewy bathroom. This place is friggin paradise compared to some apartment complexes I've been in, and the rent really is not much more. Actually, we did compare it to other apartments in the area, and it's about average price and most places dont have washers and dryers in each apartment, just laundry rooms. So get over your petty broken bathroom fixtures and your maintenance requests not met the moment you demand them, you spoiled babies.
