Pretty Good
From: -Anonymous-Date posted: 5/31/2009
Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2009
Now called Gable San Marcos.
Pros:
ample parking
great maintenance team
VERY pet friendly
good-sized
w/d in unit
pretty quiet
close to CSUSM (for students or staff)
across the street from sprinter
great upkeep
Cons:
- in non-upgraded apt (like ours) the cabinetry needs to be replaced
- a little on the pricey side
- we don't like our neighbor upstairs much because they are not sensitive to their downstairs neighbors ears
- busy street near industrial area
- outside lighting can be better
Other comments:
When I come home late I can usually still find parking (although on the other side of my apt). This is usually easily preventable by asking your significant other or roommate(s) to park in an unassigned space to leave the assigned space open for you. However, the lighting in some spots are a bit on the dimmer side and can be better. The pool area is well maintained and people who live here love to play tennis. Our upstairs neighbors are pretty noisy, stomping around and making donkey noises. We were hoping they would move before we did, but we are moving in a few weeks (need a change of scenery and to save money or else we would stay here). Overall, I would definitely recommend these apartments to people who need the sprinter and have a need for a w/d in unit with a big dog.
