20. Elevators out of service frequently mostly due to move in/out
19. Dated apartments, decent size but old carpets, counters and appliances
18. Medical building 20 feet from window presents lack of privacy
17. Moss green carpet to greet you in lobby
16. Train noise = block away
15. Water pressure is poor, scalding shower at least 1x a week
14. Laundry facilities are so so
13. O'Neills Pub is across street, you hear their bands for free = noise
12. Non English speaking security' Why the building needs it I don't know, lose the security and lower the rent
11. Pets not allowed
10. The pool area has ZERO LANDSCAPING, pool closed 5 months a year
9. The workout room was last updated years ago, TV doesn't work nor it seems half the machines
8. 160 units and zero sense of community
7. Building not child friendly
6. Fire station noise = next door
5. Coffee on weekdays is decent touch but not Saturday or Sunday, nice penny pinching move management
4. Ambulance noise = hospital block away - the noise associated with this place is because of the location, the location and the noise will never change, never
3. Trash collection daily to wake up to
2. Can you spell AUTOMATIC RENT INCREASE of horrific percentages
1. They will never ever give back deposit!!!!
Positives are while you hear noise from the outside the concrete walls mean you never hear your neighbors. Maintenance is on staff and they are very friendly. 2 blocks from movies and lots of restaurants. Starbuck's, Blockbuster, Walgreens and a local market are within walking distance. The units do have walk in closets and they leave candy on your door during holidays.
In the end the regular high rate increases with zero updates were are too much to take.
New property owners could probably turn this place around updating units as tenants moved out, updating lobby, work out room and pool. Not to mention replacing the manager who is not very friendly.
Over all thumbs down unless you can handle high noise level and frequent increases.

I wish somebody would organize class action. It seems like personal fights with this company are not winners. There definately must be more than family vs ACCO. I wish somebody would have patience to organize. Seems like ACCO management has a pattern to rip off people in all the properties it has.

Accurate annonymous post on 2/18/09 and I liked fescone response. ACCO is a bad company that loves to charge high move out costs and keep deposits on top of it! Nice location, some nice views in some units, lots of noise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and ridiculous rent increases, no loyalty whatsoever, even for the people that have been there for 20 years plus! They got you by the short hairs and use it. Kiss your deposit goodbye and pay for outrageous repairs. Again... Acco is a bad company!

This is all absolutely true. ACCO is horrible. Avoid at all costs.
