In 1999, my husband and I found this quaint complex and were estatic at its location and price. Seven years later, we are looking for another apartment because of several reasons:
1. We would like laundry facilities inside our unit. The laundry rooms here are terrible. They are dirty and wet (don't drop a sock on the floor! you'll have to rewash it), AND they're simply too few machines for the number of residents.

2. The upkeep of the property has gone way down. The exteriors are dirty (back walk-up), and the windows need to be replaced. We had to buy a dehumidifier to keep the mold at bay. We had a roof leak and it took the mangement 2 wks to respond.

3. The newer tenants are a bit unsavory. They have huge trucks and double-park (they cuss you out if you say anthing), they are loud, and obnoxious.

The great thing about this apt. (and what has made me fall in love with Pedro) is the weather and the lovely views. Running down Paseo Del Mar is my afternoon retreat.
