Moved here in 2005 but am just waiting to end the lease to move out. Started out fine, but then the problems keep piling up.
PARKING was never a problem, until new neighbors moved and kept double parking which blocked our driveway. Took management 3 weeks to fix the problem. Called the plumber already 3 times to fix the PLUMBING. Couldn't talk them into really changing the plumbing so they don't keep coming back. There are strange ODORS in the kitchen and in one bedroom which only come out at night. Couldn't find a source, we suspect it's the MOLD. Oh and speaking of that, you have to clean window sills once a week to keep them at bay (which I think is a bit tedious for the tenants part). WALLS ARE SO THIN they are probably not up to code, you can hear the neighbors fighting, or kids running up their stairs. And what's up with City of LA's Registration Fees that management asked us to pay yearly' And NO FREE UTILITIES. INSECTS love the kitchen. Ants are the worst in the winter, and house spiders live in your cabinets, you can't keep them out becasue the CABINETS don't work!!! They don't close, it got repainted too much that they don't fit in the opening anymore.
