As a homeowner in the Windemere community and long time San Ramon resident.... the issues described are the very reason that many of us are very disappointed by the city allowing so many low income housing units in our community! We pay extremely high property tax rates to provide a safe environment and good schools for our children.
I actually visited the community with a friend apartment hunting for her 19 year old daughter. The reviews here are kind of scary. We will keep looking. Maybe if only a % were below market rate' I don't know... good luck to us all!
