Some pros and some cons

First of all I wrote this review without reading any other reviews about Family Tree. When I moved in I had a first deception. While shopping for a place to live I was told that I will get my own garage. After I signed the lease agreement, I was assigned a garage and have to share it with another tenant. No big deal as long as they respect your car.
Second deception: there are more than one hundreds units here but only 6 washers and dryers. They can't be used after 9pm. With our busy life, especially when you are employed, it's difficult to get home early and do your laundry before it's closed. So I do my laundry on the weekend.
Guest what' Most tenants also do their laundry on the weekend. It's not surprising to comeback and check to see if a washer is available. What a waste of time in addition to inconvenience. The management decided to build a entertainement building instead of increasing the capacity of the laundry room. When I was prospecting for an apartment I was told that this will be a gated community. As of today Family Tree is still not a gated community. There is also a chronicle problem with the parking as Family Tree is willing to give the tenants $50 for their garage. As a result some tenants park their car in the guest parking with the risk of being towed. If you're not assigned a garage or a carport then you'll have problem to find a parking spot.
Some doors that must be kept closed to prevent fire from spreading are not completely closed. There is a hazard issue here.
I'm renting a 2 beds one bath with NO storage unless I'm willing to pay for it. The apartment is nice although you can hear and feel the neighbors walking or taking their shower. The heaters are old and inefficient. I have no problem with my direct neighbors. The maintenance team is efficient. So far I only had a minor issue and it was fixed promptly. The issue here seems to be the management team. To me, they're only good at collecting rents. They are nice only when you're looking for a place to rent.
Overall this is an OK place to live if you have kids, willing to comeback later or wait to do your laundry and if you don't have to deal with the management team. But sooner or later you will.
Because of all the issues I mentionned, I think you can find a better place to live than this one. My previous apartment was better than this one. I shoudn't have moved in to this one. I'm moving out.
