This is the longest time I've lived at an apartment, but we are planning to move out at the end of our lease this Summer. Lagoon view is nice, neighborhood is quiet, never had any issues with neighbors. All of them are pretty friendly. We live in a spacious one bedroom. The only issues we've had are the constant water shut-offs and 30% rent increases within the last 2 years. When we moved in, our apartment was $1175, now it just became $1570!!!! Did I mention that we also have no a/c? I would gladly stay if there was at least a wall-unit a/c. They did want to charge us $50 extra per month for a window a/c unit which was not worth it at all! It gets super hot during the summer with no a/c and during the winter, the heaters are so crappy that you only get lukewarm heat. So good luck if you want to get cozy.

It's great for new renters. Just wait till you renew couple of times - when renewing, you'll be paying 200 more than new renters.

All the best dude. Rate this again after few years of staying there. I thought the same way when I joined initially. BTW, do not forget about 80-100 USD that you are going to pay every month as utilities.

It was the same at our first apartment too. They raised the rent $90 a year and charged $50 JUST for water and garbage (excluding electricity). So, we're not too surprised. Unfortunately, some apartments are like that.

After about 5 months of living here, I must say I love it the best compared to the 2 apartment complexes we lived in before. My only bone to pick is the $80-$90 for water and garbage each month, especially when they always seem to be turning off the water constantly for hours on end and a lot of times, without notice. I should receive a discount considering how much they charge for water and garbage.
