I have been living in Bay Area for about 8 Years ... But never seen a Management and Apartment this poorly managed and Resdidents Treated so badly.
Within just 4 months of my stay .... I found all these issues;
- I supposedly rented an renovated apartment ... best of kind ... defineltly was charged the rent for a upscale apartment ... but in fact..
-- it was very poor quality re-work done on the old apartment and all the renovations started to fall apart in first three months. i am no expecting any money back from my ititail deposit ... because the Apartment staff is so insensible its doesn't even acknowlegdes this is thier problem
-- My wife(pregnant) had one of the bedroom doors fell on her. out of no where ... when contacted the MGMT staff ... they had no courtsey of any sought and were asking me what was i doing with the door... Oh i like to hang on them ... Dumbos. BTW there has been another one since then come apart
-- my heater in one of my room still doesn't work
-- my phone line doesn't get the full DSL internet download speed of 6MB. I am still bouncing between ATT and my apartment mgmt ... each blaming the other (wiring) for the low speed. MGMT answer is we are only responsible for the dial-tone in the apartment... dont bother/care about the internet. Good Luck!!!!
-- My dryer ... takes 2 hours to dry up all the clothes i put in. STD reply from my apartment staff ... i put in a lot of clothes .... I tried with just two clothes in it ... and still 2 hours. Still battle continues proving this with the apartment folks ... Hopefully will get resolved before my lease end
-- with new renovation i am supposed to get a new A/C unit ... which can cool as well as warm the room. This is a smaller unit ... and doesn't fit in the older slot. Easy for mansion grove staff to just stick the new unit in new slot and leave the remaining opening left open so i can enjoy the entire winter in my living room. Solution from MGMT is to stick in some cheap cloth to prevent me from dying of freezing in my living room. Also even if i decide to keep my living room heater on all day to counter the winter effect ... the heater is not enough powerfull to cope up with the chill.

Sounds like a nightmare. Can you recommend a place with higher quality?
