I am a long-term resident of Marina Cove and am astonished at how different the negative reviews here are from my own experience.
The apartments here are just about the largest in the area - in all three dimensions. Check the square footage and do a price/space comparison. And the 15-foot vaulted ceilings in all(' - I think) 2nd story apartments make it seem absolutely huge/airy/spacious.
The location is central to all the things I do. I find I go north, south, east, and west about equally. It's a block away from the Lawrence Expressway main artery, close enough to get on it quickly, but far enough away so you don't get traffic noise. I-101 and I-280 are just a few minutes away. There is a Lucky's/Albertsons supermarket, Walgreens drug store, 7-11, gas station, dry cleaners, many restaurants, etc. etc. all within a couple of blocks, easy walking distance!!!
I have found the management responsive and the neighbors friendly. I do wish those crows would go away, but it's only loud a small % of the time. And the previous noise from the ducks are now long gone with the new landscaping. I wasn't looking forward to the washer/dryer they installed in my apt last year, but now that I have it, it does come in handy. :) The pool area is newly redone and is just beautiful. In fact, the whole exterior has had a re-doing within the last year or so. The grassy pathways and trees are very pleasant.
