The longer I live here, the more I hate it. The rent is expensive. After trash/water, the rent become more than 1900 dollars a month for a 2B/2B. The apartment has central AC and heat, but during the winter, the heat never work. I called the maintenance 3 or 4 times to fix the heat and after the fourth time, I gave up. The management (the new management is worse) does not have much respect or consideration for the tenants. There are always construction, both inside and outside, causing inconveniences such as no water for some days, and noises. The open parking spaces are very limited after 6pm. Now, they are going to close the covered parking lots of 6 buildings at the same time for 3 days, leaving roughly 120 cars without parking. On their notice to the tenants, they don't bother to give the tenants an alternate choice to park the cars. On the parkings spaces that will be closed, they put a notice threatening to tow your car at your own expense!!! The complex is right on Saratoga ave, a major street, so parking on the street is next to impossible.

Its so sad as Summerwood HAD so Much potential but they DO charge TOO MUCH as I am paying over $1700 for a ONE BEDROOM ONE BATH!!! I found a two bedroom in Fremont with a fireplace and washer & dryer for ONLY $1400!! Summerwood is truely out of touch with the rents here in the valley - alot of people want to move out and management doesn't seem to even care- SAD!!!
