Overall OK place to live. Rents have risen rapidly of late. Within the past two years or so, the complex has gone through 4 managers which has been very annoying. Complex recently painted so overall nicer look to the place. Also a rash of trash divers invade the bins frequently during the week in search of recyclables and they aren't shy in their efforts. Misc. trash tends to accumulate around the complex for long periods of time and the alley and laundry rooms are usually filthy which cheapens the look of the place. Residents have changed from a good mix of professional/students to more of a student resident base.

I concur with the above assessment. I moved in here in Sept 05 and immediately noticed the SCU student noise, especially late night after the bars closed. No or limited storage in parking area, tiny kitchens, outdated appliances, NOISY wall heater fan, no current on-site mgr, several outside lights out, close to homeless encampment on ElCaminoReal so get petty thefts, car clouts, the wood roof is ready to rot off (don't want to be here for the next 4th of July!), overpriced rental, lots of promises made by management company, few kept, bitchy occasional mgr, just not a place to live comfortably. Has a pool which isn't heated (this isn't Vegas!), so I'm moving once the weather's better. I'll be year NMT a year. Not recommended at all.
