I would recommend Chestnut St. Apartments to anyone I know. I am now a graduate student at UCSC and I have been living at Chestnut for 4 years. It is one of the most attractive complexes in the city, with reasonable rent and a GREAT environment. The apartments are within walking distance of downtown and the beach. It is a quiet complex and there are a lot of college students living here. The management personnel have always been approachable and have gone out of their way to make me comfortable here. The complex is beautifully manicured and some of my best memories are of my friends and I spending summer afternoons tanning on the grass in the courtyard area. I won't move out of Chestnut because I believe it is the nicest and safest apartment complex available in the city.
