My boyfriend and his roomie lived there for over 3 years, my roomie and I moved in the second year. My roomie and I left for grad school Fall '05, told them to take us off the lease, they kept charging my boyfriend and his roomie the utilities price for FOUR people for 7 months. They never took us off the lease, because they changed managers too many times and "lost our moving out papers". We put in our month notice in Feb '06, four days before we were supposed to move out, we checked in, and there was new management AGAIN, and they said they "never got"/lost our moving out notice, which we had given them WITH our last check. The check was definitely deposited, where did our notice go' We threatened to take them to court, and we talked to the "Sequoia Equity" chain owner about this... and finally we got our money back plus the money for the 7 months of over payment... four months later because "our check got lost in the mail".
