It's gone downhill From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 8/20/2003 Years at this apartment: 1998 - 2001   We lived at Richardson Highlands (the old name) for over two years and loved it. The complex had a great community atmosphere and the office staff were wonderful. John and Jessica were always helpful. Then Archstone took over and the place went downhill. They obviously didn't care about the current tenants. They raised our rent over $500 with just a four month lease. When we complained, they pretty much said tough. Tenants started leaving within months of Archstone taking over, us included. Its a wonderful location and I would move back in a heartbeat, just as soon as Archstone sells and moves on. I will never rent an Archstone apartment ever again.
