I lived in the Americana's for (just shy of) two years and had virtually no trouble. I had a one bedroom, which was decent sized - and had tons of storage space, which was awesome! The bedroom has a double sliding door closet, as well as a walk in closet. And there's a coat closet in the 'hallway' as well as a large linen closet right outside of the bathroom. I moved in before the apartments were upgraded, but my apartment was in great condition.

The apartment did not have central air, but had a large wall a/c unit in the living room, which was vented into the bedroom and cooled down the entire apartment within about 10 minutes.

I've got pretty big furniture, and it all fit into the apartment with no problem. My patio was good enough size to fit a little patio set, and the complex was normally pretty quiet and all of my neighbors were friendly. I did my laundry in the common laundry area, and there are plenty of washer/dryers there so I never had any issue with having to wait for a unit to be open. (There's even a change machine so you can get quarters, which many apartments don't have...and it is totally handy!)

My only minor complaints would be that, one: during the renovations, they did remove a lot of the kitchen storage/cabinetry to open the kitchen up more to the living space. And two: my primary parking space was near the wall on the bowling alley side, and kids often 'hung out' there...sometimes throwing garbage over the wall...but never anything too serious.
