Worst place I've ever lived

I hated this place from the day I moved in, but stayed for 1 1/2 years because it was all I could afford in Simi Valley and it was close to work.
I moved out after my lease expired and they wanted to raise my rent by over $100. I decided it was just against my principles to pay over $1000/month to live in such a dump. They had recently repainted the complex, and I guess were trying to make it look more appealing, but a layer of paint doesn't make a dump not a dump.
I had to fight (first with the front office, and then with the corporate offices in Colorado) to get my security deposit back, although I left the apartment cleaner than when I had moved in. It was worth the fight though to get back what was rightfully mine, especially after having put up with such a substandard living space.
I was so happy to leave Creekside and would never recommend it to anyone. At least not anyone I liked. ;) qmzu4EHcaGAPVCPw2Fai
