My wife and I lived at Creekside for two years. We were very lucky when we got the apartment and wound up on the east side of the community. Many of the community members on that side are long term residents, so it is much quieter than on the west side (which also has the pools).

However, I take issue with several things with Creekside. First is the office staff, I found them to only be helpful during two situations, signing my lease and re-signing my lease. Other than that, they were typically rude and showed no genuine concern for the residents. This includes Mary, who has to be one of the nosiest people I've ever had the distaste to cross paths with.

Second, parking is attrocious. About nine months ago they re-striped the lot to make some more spaces, but now the spaces are so small that unless you drive a very tiny car, you are going to get dents and door dings. Another bad thing is this is supposedly assigned parking. Over my two years I had 13 vehicles towed and posted 27 "orange ticket" notices on other vehicles that violated the regulations. As per above, the office is unwilling to help you. You must post the notices yourself and wait for business hours to close to call security and then the vehicle can be towed.

Lastly, the conditions of the apartment themselves are not fabulous. Wood rot and termite damage is pretty extensive on the patio railings. Mold will grow in your window sills, and in the bathrooms. And the responsiveness of maintenance leaves a lot to be desired.

In closing, my wife and I got lucky. Our apartment was quiet, and we were on the side that didn't see too much police activity. So be warned, if you are looking to live here take a tour during the day, and then again at night before choosing your apartment.
